Donating items to be used in the 2025 Mane Event Gala and Auction is always appreciated and a wonderful way to show your support of Sound Equine Options' work!  The Mane Event Gala is a very special event to raise money to provide care for neglected horses in our community and to celebrate our 16th year in operation. The Gala, featuring an elegant, fun dinner and auction, will be held on October 18, 2025, at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City.

The Gala supports horses who have often endured years of neglect. Once in our care, these horses go through months of rehabilitation while in protective custody. The work continues when their legal ownership is transferred to SEO.  Taming, socialization, and additional training are often needed to be able to place the horses in appropriate loving homes. 

Last year was a tremendous success with a sold-out event that raised more than $138,000 to support care, training, placement, and owner education. 

We hope that you will join us in supporting our cause by donating an item(s) to be auctioned off at the 2025 Mane Event. As a show of appreciation, Mane Event supporters will be featured in our event emails, on our auction platform, on our social media pages, and in our event program.
